The Aluminium Group chairs designed by Charles and Ray Eames, look as fresh and relevant today as when they were designed over 60 years ago. A true testament to the foresight and understanding of aesthetic and functional needs, decades ahead of their time.
These low back chairs are produced by the original maker, Herman Miller, who worked alongside the Eameses to bring these chairs to like in the late 50s. A number of different versions have been produced over the years.
These particular chairs offer a 5 star base with glides, black leather upholstery and an adjustable tilt function. Originally this model has arms, but these have been removed for a more casual feel. [we do have the arms, that could be refinished and attached if desired]
A perfect addition to any home or workspace, they have a great lightness of form combined with a beautifully sculpted frame, making them a timeless statement in any contemporary interior.
