The heat lamp is not something that we see often today, but was a common item in houses during the mid century.
Perriand strived to create a sleek, elegant form that was also functional. The lamps' minimal design encapsulates this in the bold palette of the handle and globe, the dynamic conical shape of the body, and overall lightness of form.
The ability to rotate the lamp along the axis of this ring is a great touch that allows the piece to be adjusted to suit the desired space.
NOTE: While these do come with their original heat bulbs (that do produce a fair amount of heat) they can be replaced with a more standard bulb to achieve normal lamp light.
