The DSR chair, often named the Eiffel chair, is a moulded fiberglass dining chair that solved a problem for the Eamses that plywood could previously not. A single continuous curved form that effortlessly shapes to the user. Initially manufactured in fiberglass, it was switched to polypropylene for environmental reasons.
This chair, constructed with fibreglass like the original 1950s version, is a nod from Herman Miller to the original construction process. Now produced in an environment free from the issues that fibreglass caused in the past.
