This Citrus Squeezer is an undeniably beautiful piece of design, but highly controversial in regards to it’s function. Often regarded now as a decorative piece, this is a strong example of function following form, as while it does serve it’s purpose as a juicer, it is certainly a beautiful object first, and a functional one second, making a bit of mess while juicing.
Boxed in it’s original packaging, this particular version was sold at the Centre Pompidou in Paris, and is uniquely stamped with their logo alongside the usual Alessi logo.
