This Citrus Squeezer is an undeniably beautiful piece of design, but highly controversial in regards to it’s function. Often regarded now as a decorative piece, this is a strong example of function following form, as while it does serve it’s purpose as a juicer, it is certainly a beautiful object first, and a functional one second, making a bit of mess while juicing.
At some point in it’s life, the polished finish has been cut back, revealing a much rougher raw surface finish. Some may see this as a negative, but we think it gives an awesome look only possible with age.
