Constructed from stainless steel with cut-out oval detailing, the perforated pattern gives the piece an industrial feel. Designed at the tail end of the Memphis movement, the playfulness and geometry of Sottsass’ earlier work is still on show, yet portrayed in a more refined and practical way, much more suited for daily use in a contemporary home.
With a number of functional uses, we think it makes a great basket for bread or fruits, displayed in the centre of a table.
