The Big Blue lounge suite, handcrafted by Gerard Dombroski from his Wellington workshop in 2019. Constructed in 6mm steel rods, the frame comes to life through hundreds of hand welded connections, creating a incredibly unique and strong geometric structure. Housing 8 upholstered cushions, the comfort is unmatched, with a generous depth allowing you to kick your feet up from any angle.

Inspired by the pillow forts of Gerard’s childhood, the sofa feels less like a piece of furniture, and more like a full environment to be explored. “it’s big; it’s exciting; it feels more like a place than a thing. You can be swallowed up in its comfort.”

It’s truly hard to communicate the scale of this piece, sitting in a world of it’s own. An intriguing and eye-catching design that will become the central hub of any contemporary home.
