A special promotional watch created to celebrate Rimowa’s 100-year anniversary, this piece was never available for retail, offered only as a gift to employees and select clients.

Originally founded in 1898, the brand marked its centenary in 1998 with this commemorative release, produced by German watchmaker Messmer and powered by a quartz movement.

In line with Rimowa’s sleek, utilitarian design language, the watch features a stainless steel case paired with a woven steel bracelet. The dial incorporates a subtle suitcase graphic, complemented by the 1898–1998 anniversary marking. Finished predominantly in silver and grey, it uses blue as a highlight, seen in the small Rimowa logo and the distinctive double-ended seconds hand.

A rare intersection of industrial design and brand history, preserved completely unused in its original box since 1998.
