The Tizio Table lamp, designed by Richard Sapper, has become a icon of postmodern high-tech design. Defined by it’s set of counterweights that balance the lamp and ensure a wide range of motion can be achieved. Supported by parallel arms that replace the wire connection to the bulb, they act as a conductor to supply power to the bulb without the need for any cables. Each piece is clicked together with snap fasteners, ensuring the arms can move freely without effecting the flow of electricity.

Not a common sight to see a floor standing edition here in NZ, it’s perfect addition to a workspace or lounge. The Tizio Lamp has remained inceredibly relevant due to it’s incredible versatility and striking design that has continued to intrigue users since it was first produced in the early 1970s.
