First produced in 1961, the Eames Universal Base table was an addition to the growing portfolio of Eames table designs in the Herman Miller Offering. The construction of the Eames Universal Base table was similar to that of the earlier Contract range, with a black steel pedestal and vinyl rimmed table top. The difference is noticeable in the shape of the base, made with a more slimline, sleeker design but still constructed with the raw aluminium, an Eames staple.
This table offers a beautiful cherry wood table top. Each foot can be individually adjusted to ensure a level table top when placed on uneven surfaces.
