First produced in 1961, the Eames Universal Base table was an addition to the growing portfolio of Eames table designs in the Herman Miller Offering. The construction of the Eames Universal Base table was similar to that of the earlier Contract range, with a black steel pedestal and vinyl rimmed table top. The difference is noticeable in the shape of the base, made with a more slimline, sleeker design but still constructed with the bright polished aluminium, an Eames staple.
This table offers a soft grey top, with each foot being individually adjustable to ensure a level surface always.
a compact scale, it’s perfect for smaller spaces and is super easy to move around.
