A sculptural desk lamp from the Energi series. Despite its frequent misattribution to the 1970s, the Energi line is a deliberate retrospective, channeling Space Age optimism through lightweight, injection-moulded plastic construction.
The form is distinctly architectural: a tulip-like base supporting an orb-like diffuser that softens and halos the light. The result is both playful and precise.
Now increasingly collectible, this lamp occupies an interesting space, not truly mid-century, but a conscious reinterpretation of it, and over 20 years on, now a vintage piece in it’s own right.
