Trained as an industrial designer, Colombo was instrumental to the rise of Italian modernism throughout the 1960s, designing objects, furniture and interiors. Constructed in pressed glass, The geometric characteristics of each plate creates a striking continuity of silhouettes across the range. Here we have just the plates available, but the tableware line extended to cups, bowls, jugs and a vast array of other items, all sharing the same refined design details.
