Yellow [ Input 10 ] Container by Crayonne
Maker: Crayonne Ltd [ UK ]
Designer: Martin Roberts
Year: 1973
Size: H 159 x D/W 116
Condition Report: Vintage condition. Plastic has faded with age. Body is a softer yellow, lid is brighter. Some small surface level crackling on the lid, not penetrating right through.
.
Produced by Crayonne under the guidance of Terrance Conran for his UK based store Habitat, the Input range is a particularly striking example of the bold plastics that were so popular in the 1970s.
With no particular function in mind, these were intended as a universal container spanning a wide range of uses due to it’s generous size.
The main detail, 3 recessed domes that create a comfortable and intriguing grip for the lid.
faded with age, it’s original bold yellow has been softened in a way that we think is quite nice.
