Designed and produced locally in NZ, this beautiful bookshelf is constructed using a laminted European birch plywood. Finished on both faces with a premium hard-wearing laminate surface. Separating each layer, threaded zinc-plated steel rods provide the vertical supports, with fastening nuts to keep everything locked in place.

Reminding the designer of bamboo, the name ‘shadows of bamboo’, is a phrase from an ancient Chinese poem, and perfectly encapsulates the verticality and openness of the design.

This version also offers the addition of a sleek anodised aluminium shelf and steel wire cross supports for added stability.

Manufactured in Auckland, New Zealand.

If not in stock, they are available made-to-order in both a dark green or light grey finish with a 6-8 week lead time.
